Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospital / KACCH

•  Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospital / KACCH is providing professional service of child life specialist which help a sick child and his family to understand and to accept the medical treatment & procedures in using different modes. The play is the most important way to use.

•  Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospital / KACCH is processing children rooms and other special places for children to play so that child life specialists in cooperation with the play leaders to do their performance.

•  Child Life Specialist is using an illustrations interesting tools & means and simplified to facilitate the cooperation between the medical team, child and his family, which is reflected on the child becomes more cooperative, less fearful and anxious during his stay in the hospital.

•  KACCH provide services in the children's wards, clinics, theatre and other places of work requires special tests such as MRI Section, Radiology Department, Planning Department Brain and other.

•  Because of the perseverance, dedication and good effort by KACCH group (Child Life Specialist / Play Leader) which has become part of a supportive and recognized among the medical team.

•  It has been providing palliative care for children at home / PACCH since 2005. To try to ease the suffering of children in their own homes surrounded by their families.

•  It has completed the first phase of the building Bayt Abdulla Children's Hospice / BACCH which is located at Sulaibikhat bay.
