KACCH is governed by a Board of Trustees whose Chairman is the President of the Association. The Board is the mandatory governing body which determines the organisation’s philosophy, goals and objectives, approves operational, administrative and financial strategies, and ensures adequate funding for the programme.

The Board members provide a vital link between the activities of KACCH and the Ministry of Health, Kuwait University Faculty of Medicine, businesses in the Private Sector and the wider community of Kuwait.

:: The Management of KACCH

KACCH is managed by an Executive Committee which is made up of long-standing volunteers who have demonstrated their commitment to the KACCH philosophy. It is headed by the Director and Founder of KACCH who also sits on the Board of Trustees and is the link between the Board and the Executive Committee.

The function of the Executive Committee is to ensure the continuity of the organisation’s philosophy, aims and objectives by organising the KACCH programme and managing its activities. The members of the Executive Committee are responsible for the employment of suitably qualified professional staff to meet the needs of children and their families in hospital, and for ensuring that such staff fulfil their obligations and duties according to their job specifications and terms of employment with KACCH.
