We are a charity organization that requires volunteers to facilitate the different events that help make our facilities and services accessible those in need.<\/p>\n<p>BACCH Volunteers should:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be positive<\/li>\n<li>Attentive to the child family&#8217;s needs<\/li>\n<li>Culturally aware<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative and empathetic<\/li>\n<li>Helpful and proactive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There three different volunteering opportunities at BACCH: Day-to-day, raising awareness, and supporting events.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"txt-high\">Day-to-day:<\/span> These role include but are not limited to helping out in the Library, Cafeteria, Teaching and organisational support, Gardening, Play, Spots activities, Art, Drama and Music.<\/p>\n<p>Raising awareness by taking part in fund raising events such as promotional booths in campaigns.<\/p>\n<h2>Events<\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"txt-high\">Welcoming Team:<\/span> Help sign them in, direct them to the appropriate areas of Bayt Abdullah and answer any queries.<br \/>\n<span class=\"txt-high\">Ushers:<\/span> They are the backbone of any Event and key to the success of Event.<br \/>\n<span class=\"txt-high\">Event&#8217;s facilitators:<\/span> Ensuring the safety of all attendees and assisting them when needed.<br \/>\n<span class=\"txt-high\">Buddy<\/span> &#8211; is assigned to individual families or guest to help them enjoy the event taking into consideration their individual needs.<br \/>\nPlease list your preferred role on the following sheet from 1-5, 1 meaning extremely interested. Please email the completed sheet, along with a CV, and any question you may have to <span class=\"txt-high\">volunteer@kacch.org<\/span>.
